Biography

ANDREA MELISSA RÍOS ARAVENA

He was born in the city of Talca, on September 11, 1985. At an early age, his ability to draw and paint stood out among his peers.

2007-2009 Studied at the School of Artistic and Cultural Diffusion Caludio Arrau, at the Academy of Visual Arts his teachers were Julio Mendoza and Jacob Cortez, Chillán city.

2009-2018 Performs several courses related to artistic teaching, intercultural and management.

2013-2016 Conduct Intercultural School Painting Contests, sponsored by the Mapuche Museum of Cañete and Municipality of the same city. Creating access and participation of educational establishments. The themes are always related to the Culture of the Mapuche People, Stories, their natural environment and the Ñuke Mapu (Mother Earth).

In his artistic career he has participated in countless collective exhibitions and 3 individual exhibitions, of the latter "Nawelbuta Sanctuary in Peril" itinerant in different cities of Chile.

He has done several workshops of Drawing and Painting, Illustration, Artistic Recycling and Muralism, to age groups, such as: boys and girls, youth, adults and seniors. His main passion is to investigate the culture of the original peoples of Chile and their natural environment.
