Born in Cazorla (Jaén) Spain in 1929. Raised in a humble family environment, he gradually showed a certain interest in drawing. In the mid-fifties he received a one-year scholarship from Hon. City Council of Cazorla, entering the Royal Academy of Fine Arts "Santa Isabel of Hungary" Seville. His brief academic training will not stop him in his passion for painting, which would combine with his work as a topography official.
At the end of the 60 he received a third prize in the national painting competition of Cazorla, with a painting titled: "Desde mi calle", a painting owned by Hon. City Council of Cazorla, along with other paintings exposed in some dependencies of the City Hall.
In 1974 he will move with his family to Jaén for work, it will be in this city where he will meet painters of the stature of Rufino Martos, Juan Hidalgo, Alfonso Parras, Rafael Ortega, Marcelo Góngora, José Cózar, etc.
Numerous exhibitions will be held throughout his life, in cities such as Cordoba, Almería, Jaén in the House of Culture and in the exhibition hall of the savings bank of Granada and especially in his city of origin Cazorla being this the place of greatest number of times that he exposes: Casino, House of the culture, Rural Box, Patio of the City council.
Its main theme will be the Jienense landscape, in which it shows a great mastery of color, showing perfectly the luminosity characteristic of Cazorla and Jaén.
He was a very prolific painter and in love with the oil painting that he combined perfectly with his work and above all he never stops painting despite suffering a long and hard illness that will finally end his life on October 9, 2010.
